This museum is a must visit place if you really want to go back in time. What a collection! The owner himself collected all the artifacts over the years. It's really unbelievable. There are a total of 3 different museums that get covered in a single ticket of Rs. 300 per peson. A personal guide is provided, which is a great thing. Property is very well maintained.

A great collection of artefacts. Good curated stuff. If you are deeply interested in looking at The Three museum tour is good. The explanation is clear by the guide. I wish some of the stuff is kept uncluttered for people to take pictures. Understandable that this is a private collection and appreciate the gentleman who had the vision to collect and make a museum for people to visit. Posted a few photos for you to have a look.

Not an easy find, but it's tucked amidst a serene way in the beauty lanes of goa. There are 3 museums as part of the entire experience that is guided as part of the entry fee that's Rs 300/- per person. As per your choice of language, i.e. English, hindi or goan the tour is given. The museum has various rare artefacts that date back to the 17th era, mostly from the time goa hadn't received independence. It shares the tools used for cooking, warfare, hospitals, music, and even commute. Right from the religion intricacies followed to daily means of living, customs and unknown nuances across cultures pertaining to different states of the country are displayed here. Since there is a lot to show and very little space you might find it a little cramped up but the entire guided experience is indeed fun for people who love museums and are truly inquisitive about the evolution of man and his toys across sectors. The tour is approx 45 mins for all three museums and you can go through it at ease. There is a cute cafe as well for some chilled drinks and light food. Must visit museum!

Absolutely loved visiting this place. A must visit place for all those who love history, ancient culture. It is an amazing collection of old items and artifacts and the owner / Curator has done a commendable job in collecting and maintaining the museum. The staff guide Sarah is very knowledgeable and literally took us down the history lane and very nicely explained about the collection. Overall, a real WOW and pleasurable visit to the museum. Time well spent.

Good museum to understand the tool used during pre Portuguese era. There are three museums in total. Entry fee is Rs150 per person which includes a guide too. This museum is divided into three sections - Chakra, Chitra and Kruti. Overall good time spent here understanding the various tools, transport mechanisms used during those days. Just one feedback - Guide explains too fast and in a hurry. May be due to the limited number of guides available. We are told that time will be given to click pictures later but again under the vigilance of another guide so that we don't touch the exhibits which I agree. But then I feel they should increase the number of volunteers to overlook such things.

The museum is a wonderful experience for people who would like to know the indonportuguese culture history and way of living. The ticket is a bit pricey i would say given you can finish the route in 30 -45 mins. The best part is you shall be provided a guide who shall take you through every corner of the museum and explain its relevance

Great collection! We were accompanied by a guide as we bought tickets for the entire tour. It has 3 parts and tickets can be bought separately. It was 300 RS per head. It is difficult to understand what's on display if one tries to explore by themselves. Would be helpful if they add titles to all displays.
