Glucklich Beach Cottages - Resort hotel in Koteshwara Proper, Beejadi - Udupi, India

Wonderful location. Literally bang on the beach. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. Food was tasty, stick to the Indian cuisine. The staff too were friendly and efficient. Rooms had working acs and geysers. Coffee mugs could be bigger.

I will start with negative points first- 1. Breakfast was too bad, limited to only idli, Vada and leamon rice. 2. What ever curry item you order they have same gravy for all of them 3. If you want anything between lunch and dinner then you can't get, as their cook will be back by 6pm only. 4. They should check rooms before handing over the keys, room was not clean on first place. They cleaned immediately though. 5. After sunset you can't make out that you are at shore or ghat, as no lights and you can't see a thing. Pros- 1. Location - right infront of beach and peaceful. 2. Staff behaviour - they are very good and well mannered. 3. Not okay also for kids, but must say awesome for couples or old aged people.

We had a real good experience here, though the stay was only for a couple of days. The staff were extra courteous. Mr. Ashok goes way out to ensure the guests are tended fully. I can give 5 stars without thinking twice. And the proximity to the sea is the icing on the cake

Amazing resort to stay at. Rooms were clean n service was prompt. Restaurant served very good dishes n the breakfast was the icing on the cake. Ghee sada dosa n Goli bhajjia recommended. The chef was excellent n took great care in prepping food. Location was super right on the beach. Very few tourists on the beach so had the entire place to ourselves. Maybe they can maintain the stretch of beach opposite their property as well and get rid of plastic or trash the sea throws back. Will further enhance their customers experience.

I spend few nights in this lovely place. Everything was perfect. Its really good location very few steps from the beach. The staff is nice and very friendly!

very nice location- 2 minutes walk to beach - beach not crowded- neat room hot food limited variety but ok ****staff very service oriented**** especially ****Mr Ashok Manager *****was very efficient so was Mr Ritesh strongly recommend joint rooms available which can accomodate nearly 8 persons so good for family get togethers I think the hotel can arrange for auto pick up and drop from station if informed early - having own car is advantage but not necessity

Rooms are quite small but they have spacious washroom, dining table, sofa and TV. The best part about this cottage is the access to beach. The location is ideal and is quite safe as well. Really enjoyed the calm at this place. Breakfast is included but guests can order in food.
