Visited here for Krushi mela 2022 -The theme of the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS) expo will be agricultural start-ups. The annual fair is held to provide awareness of the most recent technological breakthroughs, new crops, and changing climatic circumstances. This year there were 38 agricultural innovations, in addition to nine new crop varieties. New crops include paddy types that may be harvested in 120 to 125 days, hybrid maize, short-duration field bean varieties, and others. There were expert presentations on the advantages of integrated crop patterns for avoiding monocropping. Agricultural achievers were also recognized. You need to visit the place to explore all categories. It's very interesting if you are into agriculture or willing to go to agriculture.
A serene place with a lot of greenery and open space. It's spread from GKVK to vidyaranyapura. One can go for an early morning walk. Visited this place during krishi mela. A rare opportunity to address all your farm related needs.
Wonderful place for morning workout! The view of Sunrise is wonderful in the campus.A Ganesha Temple in the campus, from where people start their day with folding hands, The greenery and the birds chirping keeps us motivated. The squawk of peacocks are the prominent ones among them. Siting a peacock or an ostentation is the best thing, to enjoy during the activities. It has playground for cricketers, natural running tracks for barefoot runners, nice roads for cyclists, walkers, skaters, peaceful places for yoga practicioners. So it attracts people of all age groups. Sale of organic fruits grown in the campus attracts many. The best part is, it's a nice place to see wonderful people around.
Gkvk campus is very good place for walking, jogging and cycling. We can see a variety of trees and birds. Best place to read books. Very peaceful and unpolluted place. During morning walk , you can get herbal juices and organic fruits.
Very Nice place. Full green. You can walk, cycle, eat in canteen. You can spend 1 or 2 hours easily. You will find many cultivations. Vegitables, Flowers, Greens.
Nice place for morning walk, seeing some nice plants, and budget breakfast. Botanical garden is located inside GKVK Agricultural university. When I visited, I found some interesting varieties of Ficus trees. Most interesting was one with leaves shaped like a cup, called Ficus Krishnae or Krishna's Buttercup. As per legend, Krishna transformed the leaves into cup shape. Surrounding area is a popular spot for morning walkers. Also, one can enjoy decent south Indian breakfast in GKVK canteen located opposite botanical garden. They make very nice Akki or Rice Roti.
