GKS Convention Centre - Wedding venue in Avadi - Thiruvallur, India

Went to attend a marriage reception of my relation. Located in Avadi but in a very far off place from heart of chennai city. Ola, uber taxis flatly refuse to come from madipakkam, velachery etc. Travel time is around 1.45 hrs. Approach road is very cramped as it is located in bazaar road due to this lots of illegal parking on the roads. But once you get inside its a different world. Its very very big. Parking is underground. Dining is just above that. Dining hall can hold more than 300 - 400 people at a time, yes that much big. Centralized ac is good. There are plenty rooms on the upper floors. There are few dormentary type rooms wherein 10 - 15 people can stay, but sadly there is only one washroom. One can understand the condition in case of urgency. Also there was only one set of restroom at the entrance of dining hall. Overall good place for big functions like marriages etc.

It's a huge marriage hall with separate dining floor on the ground floor with more than 500 seating capacity. First floor marriage hall with a very big stage. Side verandas with 7 rooms. Second floor also rooms available. Basement a huge parking space like that of a mall. All arrangements were very good. Most suitable place for a big wedding at a comfortable price. Only difficulty was it is situated at Avadi which is traffic wise / distance wise far from central Madras. Otherwise the building as such is excellent. Sorry I am presently unable to attach some wonderful photos . May be in a day or two.

Is the biggest wedding hall I have seen in any city ever. Period. The air conditioning for the size is highly impressive as is the decor etc. Accessibility is an issue, although parking is ample and one need not worry about getting their vehicles here.

Very well decorated and maintained hall. Parking is available. Good ambience. However, the locality is a bit congested.

Place kept so neat n top class ambience

The largest hall in avadi with high class Amenities. This hall has a wide stage, centralised AC. Hall seating capacity is above 1500. Dining hall seating capacity is 500 approximately. Spacious parking with valet parking. There is a small ganapathy in outside of the hall. This hall will make our function memorable.
