GK Electricals - Hotel in Kalka - Panchkula, India

We stayed here because we had a train next morning to Shimla. The hotel is situated at a 5-10 minute upward walk from the station. U access rooms by climbing a very cramped up steep staircase. The rooms are not that great but ok for a one night stay. The Blankets were dirty. We were fortunate of have our own blankets. The beds were cranky too. Even if I turned a side it would make noise. No meal is included but there are some dhabas nearby which will offer you food at a very good price. Our room had hot water. But the bathrooms weren't in that good condition.... All in all, we had to spend just a night so we had to spend it somewhere. Would go there unless I don't find a better option

This is one amongst very few alternatives at Kalka Railway Station. Unless there are alternatives to compare with, you can not say it's good or bad. Anyway for the tariff, it could have been little more clean and spacious. Only fit for over night stay to catch the early morning train.

Good Hotel with basis needs. Rooms n washrooms are need n clean. Good place specially..if u just go to send a night...as its very near to Kalka station. We reached at 10 in the night and had a early morning train to Simla. So it's perfect to stay here... As its just 5min walking fm the station

Lodge rather than a hotel Pros: walking distance from kalka railway station, in the main market, on the main road, hot water available. Cons: poorly maintained, dirty linen/blanket, found it difficult to catch up with sleep due to noise from adjacent room (lack of privacy). No kitchen thought they provide room service by getting food from adjacent restaurant with little extra cost. Okay for overnight stay. Wouldn't have stayed for a day more.

The hotel is very near to kalka station and it is the best to catch the early morning sivalik deluxe from kalka to simla. Staffs are very helpful and the rooms and everything are good. Looking forward to stay again in thr hotel.

Absolut budget hotel. Good for one night staying before moving to different places of Himachal. Just one caution, stairs are high so aged persons should not try this hotel

Owner has great attitude but the place disappoints. No water available in basins and bathroom. Ac not working after midnight. Very dirty bathrooms. Dirty bedsheets. Bed bugs and some other insects could be easily spotted.
