GitaRam Hospital - General hospital in Murshidabad, Berhampore - Murshidabad, India

I recently visited the hospital that had a very good doctor and nurse, but unfortunately, my experience with the reception desk and non-medical staff was not up to par. The doctor and nurse who attended were both highly skilled and knowledgeable. They were empathetic and took the time to explain about condition and treatment options in detail. The medical care was top-notch, and I felt confident in their abilities to provide with the best possible care. However, my experience with the reception desk and non-medical staff was not as positive. When I arrived at the hospital, I was greeted by a receptionist who seemed disinterested in helping me. They didn't explain the admission process or provide any information about the hospital's policies or procedures. Additionally, when I had questions about something, the staff members I spoke with were unhelpful and dismissive. Overall, while the medical care I received at this hospital was excellent, my experience with the reception desk and non-medical staff left something to be desired. If you're looking for a hospital with great doctors and nurses, this may be a good option, but be prepared for a less-than-stellar experience with the administrative staff. This is only my personal review as patient party.

I visited the hospital for OPD. The waiting time is less than other hospitals here. Doctors were good as well as the staff. There is a school and a college in the same campus.

Worst experience ever, we opted for private cabin (Non AC), which was charged Rs1150/day, but the services provided is very bad, in the morning till 10:00 hrs no sweeper came to clean the cabin, the staffs are very rude, specially the security personnel are very rude while taking to the family members of the patients. No patient kit has been provided which is a very common and basic facilities in private hospitals. Overall I think there are many private hospitals in Berhampore which provide overall better facilities in a lower price point than Gitaram Hospital.

Very costly service

Overall the quality of service provided by the hospital is above average, in case of birth of a child there is no in-house pediatrician available at the hospital, which is very essential in my frank opinion.
