Amazing experience.. Although it's very crowded most of the days, the reason for this is that there is almost 90% probability that you will see lions. Even if you take the short bus trip costing 150-200/- per head, you'll definitely see lions, leopards and loads of other wildlife.

Had a great time here . Went on the bus safari and it was an amazing experience. Got to see plenty of lions ,deers ,and other wild animals during the safari. The place is also very well maintained and clean . There's a food court here as well,and clean hygienic washrooms too.

You definitely will spot lions here. Devaliya park safari is probably only an hour or so but then I saw around 8 lions that morning. Absolutely fantastic and a few of them even walked right next to our Jeep. It was a surreal experience !!! Get here early in the morning to book your safari and tour guide. Money spent is well worth it and the guides and drivers take extra effort to take you around the forest area. Apparently they communicate with each other via phone to identify where lion sightings occur and quickly detour there. They even draw your attention to animal tracks, birds, and other wildlife in the area. Also give some history and special memories of the place. Note to tourists ... Be nice to them. I've seen a few unruly folks and the guides and drivers do not deserve to be treated rudely.

Great trip. This is a 16km x 16km fenced of portion of the forest that is natural in all other ways. Chances of seeing lions is based on luck but you can see lots of leopards is an enclosed area; these had been a menace and had killed people or cattle. The tour takes about an hour, our guides gave us about 90 mins. Saw many lions but that encounter was cut short since the lions appeared to become a bit aggressive. There are many other animals too. If you don't mind the cost, take the private Gypsy tour You can't take plastic water bottles into the jungle, so need to purchase a Steel water bottle filled with water for $10. The bottle needs to be returned at the end of the tour. The bottle is huge and you can't really drink during the trip. Therefore, either skip the water purchase or get only one. No

A good place developed by Gujara state to promote tourism.Considering holidays post Diwali and Gujarati New Year, there were lot if rush at Diwaliya Safari Park. It took around 1 hour to buy tickets. The place is beautifully maintained and safari ride was smooth (apprx 40 min ride through bus). Cost if ticket was 190/- each at this time. Children above 3 yrs are charged full. We could see lions, leopards, deer, neelgai and some monkeys. Overall Ok if you could not do jungle safari due to any reasons ... Recommendation- Try to book online if possible. Reach early to avoid rush.

Nice location to spot lions in their natural habitat. Per person tickets are 190 for the weekend. Monday to Friday is less. Nice souvenir shop is there

I would suggest to go for this but in morning only ...Everything was great except the timings , for any safari you should not book it after 11 am , Due to heat and sun all animals go deep in jungle and hide . coming to place , better to do online permits booking, Rs 1000, and go to ticketing counter with receipts , they will assign Car and guide , 1600 rs for Car and Rs 400 for guide . TTL Rs 3000. you may opt for Bus also ticket also which cost u just 150 for pee person.

We went in the month of July as Gir forest was closed at that time. They took us on an half hour drive which was a great experience. It won't feel like jungle safari though. You can reach there by cab and book bus tickets there itself. Booking a gypsy is expensive and not worth.
