Ginger Trivandrum - Hotel in Kazhakkoottam, Thiruvananthapuram - Thiruvananthapuram, India

Really courteous staff. The place is well situated near Technopark phase 1 and 3. Unfortunately my stay at ginger was cut down due to a flood and the hotel called for evacuation. But they arranged for a new place and it was paid for. The breakfast buffet is really good and has a great variety of options. Overall the stay at ginger was really good

Totally run down. Floor tiles cracked and broken at some places. I got a room which was freshly painted.. and there was a nauseating smell and dust at some places.. the room was properly cleaned and wiped after painting. The corridor looked like junkyard with extra bed and bedsheets thrown around. The only positive was the bathroom was clean and breakfast was decent. Otherwise this is just a glorified lodge.

Very care less Service. We need to call twice for single service. And they not bother about customer. Even no suggestions about room. Just they provide key and keep quiet. There was no bucket in room we requested 3 time. Then they provided us. Very lazy staff also almost that building got old. All items got damaged. If u want to stay like cheaper hotel. U can choose this. Only good thing is food. Food was good . Especially ghee dosa.

Easy access from the road. Plenty of parking slots and thanks to Anshwara from the reception. She is very helpful and friendly at the time of c/in.For the house Keeping dept , please make sure to change the pillow covers after every c/out ( I had a pillow case which was dirty) and clean the toilet floors clean. Also the c/out was very fast and friendly.

Just a normal, backpacker style hotel.Bathrooms look a bit old. For the price, it may be good. Nothing much to write about the breakfast. Was okay for a 3 star hotel. Service was worth mentioning. Anaswara( I think that's the name) checked us in and was extremely friendly and warm. Abhilash is another person worth mentioning who helped us get an adjoining room and was very helpful over the phone and at the hotel.

Everything was fine like the room, parking, breakfast, etc but one has to wait for a long time to get the check in done.

This was my second stay at the hotel, but unfortunately, the experience wasn't very pleasant this time. During my first stay, I had a great experience in a modern and well-equipped room on the third floor, which was the reason I chose to book with the same hotel again. However, this time, the room I was given was not up to par with my previous experience. It had an outdated style and lacked some of the amenities I had enjoyed before. Additionally, I had to wait for approximately 30 minutes in the lobby before being given a room. Initially, they asked me to wait for 10 minutes as they were cleaning a room on the second floor, but after 15 minutes, they called again to inquire if a room on the ground floor would be acceptable. I expressed my preference for an upper floor as initially agreed upon. After another 15 minutes of waiting, they finally arranged a room for me on the second floor. However, the overall experience was disappointing and didn't live up to the expectations set by my first visit.

Located in a reachable location near to technopark. Rooms are not that great. The staff needs to be trained well to engage the customers. It's bit expensive than the facilities offered. Cleanliness of the property need to be improved. Phone, Wi-Fi, etc are not working and no one bothers about them even after repeated complaints.
