Rooms and facilities are good. Service is a hit or miss. Either you get what you asked for in 20 seconds or you wait till checkout (obviously I am exaggerating but you get the hint). Won't allow guest without registering id which I was told is mandatory by govt law, someone please clarify on that. Otherwise, all good.
Had a wonderful stay with family. Very spacious and clean room-one bed executive suite. Fabulous service all through- right from the check in to check out, the front desk team is very helpful and courteous. Mr Jayesh Nair - Hotel Manager - personally escorted us to our room and offered any help we may require. The housekeeping staff promptly attended to our requirements. The restaurant manager was also happy to provide us a hot dessert at our request, instead of the icecream that was at the buffet counter. Food was A+ class- fried fish and chilli pineapple were amazing at dinner. The breakfast spread was good with salads, fresh fruits, juices and beverages and live counter. Absolute value for money. Good ambience too.
Overall I must say Ginger Kochi is hospitalality personified.
We stayed with a group of friends at this hotel. The entire experience from check-in to check-out was five star. The rooms, the conference room facility, the top floor pool, the staff and the meals were exceptional. Mr. Manoj and Mr. Vipin made our stay hassle free and enjoyable. Mr. Manoj even had his staff prepare special items for breakfast on request from us. He even featured a 16 course traditional Kerala Saadya upon request from our group of friends. I will stay here again when I visit Kochi the next time. Thank you to this exceptionally hospitable hotel and its staff.
Hotel is good but they took too much time for room availability and management is not proper.

Excellent staff and great Hospitality- that's what make Ginger MG Road an amazing place to be in. We had our corporate meetings conducted at this facility and the coordination and execution was great . Would like to mention Mr.Manuraj ( Manager- F&B ) and Mr.Ameerkhan ( Steward ) who was always there to ensure our program went well .
Hotel reception is beautiful , but the rooms are dusty and the buffet option is less. The restaurant staff should know about the prices of breakfast and all. The swimming pool is dirty not hygiene.
