GIANT CLOCK Tower - Historical landmark in Krishnanagar - Nadia, India

Good place in Krishnagar.....the place is called Foyarar More......there is a fountain..... everytime the fountain looks beautiful very much.....at the evening,the place is full of lights.....the fountain looks more beautiful with the lights.....there is a judge court....the place is all time busy.....there are traffic jams sometimes......it is a crowded place.....there are traffic police,who control the traffics....the traffic police are hard worker......they do their duty everyday very well....they help the people to cross the road....there are many shops.....food, clothes,kitchenware,shoe,tea stall etc....You will get all your daily needs from here..... station,bus stand is near from this place..... Krishnagar is my home-town......I love this place very much....the place is another main point of Krishnagar @GIANT CLOCK Tower

This is a beautiful place in Krishnagar. At night there we can see fountains. There are lights for fountains also. But the sirens of the clock doesn't ring now. Also the fountain doesn't work properly. The clocks become dirty now. Sometimes the clocks stop working. Thus I am giving 3 stars. But now the fountain is rebuilding . I think it will be a beautiful place again after the construction.

Very important landmark in krishnanagar town. It's near Judge court.

It is very nice to see just like EIFEL TOWER. The clocks are also big to be seen from distance. The chime is also melodious. This is now a land mark. This is situated in another land mark place THE FOUNTAIN MORE.

The 'Giant Clock Tower' is situated in the Foarar More, also known as Judge Court More. The structure of the clock tower is beautiful. There are four clocks on the tower and the clcoks are also big to be seen from distance . The chime is also very good to hear. I can hear the ringing from my house. I have good experience with it .When the tower was set up I was in class six.One day my father told me about the ringings. I told him that the sound is coming ftom the belfry tower of church. But he asserted that the chime is coming from the newly built clock tower of Judge Court More. Later when I discovered that my father was right I eagerly waited to hear the soothing sound of the clocks.From the clocks started to regulate my works.When I go to school I look at the clocks to find out if I am late or not. The clock tower which is an ornament of Krishnagar adorns the city beautifully. But the authority does not take care of it as a result the clocks show wrong time .

It is a beautiful thing and indicates always correct time. So local people are most helpful by it. It is the second Tallest clock tower of Krishnanagar Cathedral Church. It is also a good place.

It's a giant clock situated atop a beautiful fountain at judges court more of krishnanagar The clock is visible from all the three connecting roads. The clock has a Victorian look. Also the bell rings gorgeously. The bell can be heard from far away. the clock is a landmark and has a beauty of it's own in the city of krishnanagar. The clock is second tallest only to The famous clock of krishnanagar cathedral.

The setup is done amd maintained by krishnagar municipal authority. It may be a land mark for for central krishnagar. A long before there was a big old tree then it was replaced by water shower. Just few years ago the giant clock was set up by central Nurshing Home krishnagar.
