You can find yourself in the history of clay work while interacting with the artists present in the studios. Some of them are renowned and also they have achieved national awards showcasing the immense skill of the clay art knowledge. The rates are reasonable of the art works present. You can also order some of the art works showcased for yourself. The place is a must visit while you are at Krishnanagar.

GHURNI is at Krishnanagar, in the district of Nodia. Ghurni is famous for its clay works, it is known as 'Putul Patty'. Many national award winner clay worker belong to this place. From Krishnanagar city junction railway station you can hire toto, it will take 15 to 20 minutes to reach there. At the same time you can also experience the tasting of famous sweets 'Sarbhaja', 'Sarpuriya', 'Nikhuti' etc.
