Everything here is so good except the standard operation process and managing tourists here at such an amazing place. Mismanaged parking , bad washrooms and what not when you visit this amazing place. However those who all are visiting this place a suggestion for you this an amazing place for scenic beauty completely natural. So come along with your food packets keep hand sanitizers etc for washroom purposes. Kudos to the local shopkeepers they are very welcoming. Ghora Katora Lake in Rajgir is a tranquil gem amid the lush greenery. The serene waters reflect the surrounding hills, creating a picturesque sight. Boating here offers a serene escape, letting you soak in nature's beauty. However, the area might get crowded, affecting the tranquility. Overall, it's a peaceful spot to unwind amidst nature's embrace. Also be mindful of the season you choose to visit these places as the water may be too shallow to have a good boating experience.

Ghoda Katora is a beautiful natural lake located near Rajgir. According to Hindu mythology, this place used to be the stables of King Jarasandh. The government of Bihar has developed this site under Bihar Tourism to attract tourists.

It is one of the famous places of Rajgir. To come here, first of all you have to come to the entrance of Vishwa Shanti Stupa, then from there you have to buy a ticket of Rs 10. No private vehicle is allowed from there. You will have to take an e-auto from there, the fare of which is Rs 100 per person. To visit Ghoda Katora well, do take a boat ride on the lake, for which I paid Rs 80 per person. After visiting here, definitely go to the adjacent Eco Park, whose entry fee is Rs 10. A must visit place if you're coming to Rajgir. Situated and surrounded by beautiful mountains. Presence of Lake and lord Buddha inside it gives a heartwarming feeling for the location. One can reach here via Tota (EV) standing at the main gate which will cost at least 200 for single person. Closing time is around 4pm so make entry before that. Boating charges are very minimal and you'll enjoy a lot. There will be network problem here. A small shop for snacks and water.

Wonderful place to visit. From the main road, it is around 6.5 km inside. Autos are available to take you to the spot which is a nice journey covering jungles and then Lake. You can go boating. It's a nice picturesque scenery all around.

Ghoda katora lake is a natural lake and one of the tourist attraction in Rajgir. This lake is situated in deep inside the forest. The lake is surrounded by high mountains. There is a tall statue of Gautam Buddha in the middle of this lake. This make the lake more beautiful. There is a natural environment around the lake. People can enjoy boating inside this lake by paying the specified fee amount. Mountains surrounding this lake is looking awesome. This is also a beautiful place for photo shoot. This is 6 km away from the base point of the Shanti stupa and only e-riksha are allowed to go there. E-rikha cost is Rs. 100 each passenger for to and fro journey to the Ghoda katora lake. This is suggested to take snackes or food items and water with you from the base point of Shanti stupa. It is better to take e-rikha to go there latest by 4 pm. There is a Goda katora park also nearby this lake. The park can be visited by paying Rs. 10 as an entry fee. This park is also beautiful as I have seen from outside. There is a viewpoint tower inside this park. This is also suggested to keep eye on your kids and don't allow them to go near the lake water. It is better to visit Shanti stupa first and then Ghoda katora lake. Do not encourage begging by giving anything to the beggars if you find.

Ghoda katora lake and ecopark is best place for visit with family.ecopark is situated just beside the lake.In the park many types of plants make park beautiful look.For the entry into park they charge -Rs 10 . playing equipment are setup for children and also water cooler with purifier available for drinking water.
