If you are looking for great traditional thali and if you are really very hungry this place is for you. Good taste great hospitality. They serve only one variety thali where dishes are changed according to the season like mix veg and ladyfinger (bhindi) , nimbu paani and mango shake etc.. it's will cost to Rs495 + 5% GST.
The restaurant is a total change of environment while walking in db city mall because one moment you're shopping and it's all hustling & bustling and next moment you enter a place which is a cultural hit! All Rajasthani feels and warm welcome with a turban!
With food I had a mixed experience! The thalis were all cling wrapped, clean & hygienic! Variety was good but dishes overall were lacking traditional Rajasthani flavour! They served nimbu pani & butter milk in welcome drinks and both were good. Kadhi was good too with a very strong essence of asafoetida. Daal baati alongside however was just passable and could have been a lot better! Same with gatte ki sabji. The kheer in dessert i felt had turned stale as it gave a sour aftertaste, upon informing staff they did replace it with halwa which tasted super good & recommended!. There were jalebis also in the dessert, it was perfectly crispy & appropriately sweet! Liked it.
Rest dishes in the thali were also a mix of good, bad, average. Staff was jolly, prompt & service was quick. Unlimited thali at 495/- + gst is good price point.
Overall the place is fine for a one time experience.
After seeing many reviews , we decided to explore this place to try their thali.
We were the first there as we went around 12 pm .
From the start the staff were courteous and greeted us in their traditional rajasthani style. They also gave us the caps which they traditionally wear.
The place was spot on . The Thalis were sealed which made us think that they take great care with cleanliness .
As soon as we started they showed us the menu and food started coming in . In total there were 24 items and all were unlimited .
Everything was good . can't complain.
One advice to the management
I know the objective is to make the customer feel special but someone standing next to the table and looking at the food was something unexpected .
Extremely tasty traditional Rajasthani food, beautiful ambience, polite and professional staff. Must visit!!
Very good service. We celebrated a birthday party. Very well organised. Food is served with lot of love and affection. Must recommend.
