JMD9 This place is very important historical monument of Delhi. This fort divided by a main road and ticket window also Seattle on road tickets you can take online also through windows you can pay by cash also. Inside area of this place mostly neat and clean dustbins also available for garbage. Other part of this place is very well maintained sign boards everywhere for complete details about the place a good place for family and children's for educational purposes also..
Nice place to visit with family and friends. But mostly couples can be seen. Ticket is 25 rupees per head. Tomb is on opposite side of the road. Security guards are available at the premises. Clean washrooms are there inside the fort.
Very well maintained Tomb, approach to this tomb is very nice. You need to come opposite to the Tughlakabad Fort and can enter to this Tomb with the same purchased ticket of Tughlakabad Fort. They have mentioned the details on Braillipi so that everyone can get to know the details of this tomb. It also have a beautiful garden where anyone can sit and have a chat. Very nice place to click pictures. Maximum visitable time is 15-20 minutes, not more than that because it doesn't not have many things to do. Not a place for Couples, as seen at other locations.
Located right opposite Tughlaqabad Fort, this tomb is dedicated to Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq and two persons buried with him are estimated to be his wife and son and heir Muhammad Bin Tughlaq. Predating the Taj Mahal by over 300 years this mausoleum shows the use of marble for decorating a building but not for construction of it. The dome is completely built of marble. Same Rs20 ticket that one has to buy for Tughlaqabad Fort gives you access to this site too. Steep steps lead onto the platform where the mausoleum is built but before accessing the building you have to be careful about the monkeys sitting outside who are fed be general members of the public.
The tomb was part of the Tughlakabad fort connected by a rampart and surrounded by the lake but the lake has dried and the rampart was cut to make badarpur road .The tomb complex is small but grass and the tomb in the centre makes it awesome. A must see if you are in the vicinity. The sunset makes it even more beautiful.
Wonderful place to spend peace time alone or with few family members and friends. You would find lots of monkey there. The tomb is not that beautiful but possess great historical significance and will astonish you by the architect style existing during that time. Fare of ticket is Rs15 which includes the price of visiting Tuglakabad Fort just opposite to the Tomb. It lacks water and snacks availability nearby and also I think there are no proper toilets .
A place of desire..... Come here for peace and prosperity.... A place surrounded with nature..... Greenery spred everywhere.... This tomb is very unique and.... Made up of red sand stones..... Surrounded with beautiful walls made up of yellow stones.... In this tomb ... 3 cemetery are available ... You can lunch here in park .... It is situated on the front of tuglaq fort..... Nearest metro station is badarpur boarder metro only 5 km away from it .... And if you want to go by yellow line metro then nearest metro is saket metro station.....
Even though the fort across the road is not well maintained, the tomb is quite well preserved and stands like a strong witness to the history.
