It's really peaceful area for couples and splendid view of lake. Additionally natural charming birds are also there's. In season time you will be surprised by migratory birds. You will see morals and rabbit too. Boating area available but they don't allow others to entertain with boat.
Very nice and beautiful place, nice spot for picnic
Well to be honest this is not actually a children's park rather it is suitable for couples. Biggest park in this locality which is situated very near to the Shilabati river but outside of the main Ghatal town. You can reach here by auto, electric vehicles, bike or by walk. The place is good, quieter, green and nicely maintained. You will find several trees of fruits not only just flowers and saplings like other normal parks. No wheelchair facilities are there and you can park your vehicles inside the premises. Water boating facility is also available. Below are the timings and pricing details, have a look - Open - Morning - 8AM to 12 Noon. AfterNoon - 3PM to 5PM. Price - Rs10 per person. Below 3 yrs age no ticket required. Boating - Rs10 per person. Picnicking - Winter season only. Rs7 per person. P.S. - Keep the entry ticket safe, the gatekeeper will ask you to return or show the ticket when you are about to exit the place. There are two entrance gates and both side having ticket counters. Driving 4 wheeler is little difficult as the front side entrance road which connects to the town is narrow. Back side entrance gate is towards the river side and little bigger than the front one. People does small outing or get together here especially during holidays in winter seasons. Keep water bottle with yourself as drinking water facilities are not well accessible here. Also if you are going with your partner or you guys are couples, please be-aware of local peoples which are mostly unethical, bad in nature and does not have manners about how to behave and talk with others. They are there always to teas and curious about other person's personal life. Other than that this place is good to roam around, chit chat with your friends as well.
It is a good place for some relaxation
Good place but need more updates!! Just like water boats, tree plantation, cleaned pond etc.. many things!
Not well maintained
Good place for group picnic, But not maintained properly by the authority.
While visiting midnapur for nababarsha our cousins took us there. It seems it's their favourite place. Look wise very good. Very creative. The service was little slow may be because of high rush. We had to wait in queue. The pizza was served on kasa
Cannot express my feelings in words. Three cheers for Dr Sujit Kumar Bishayi and the Sinha Brothers Saikat and Saptarshi. Excellent ambience and lot of good offers and staff are really well behaved
Good place for lunch. Suggesting you to add mauri (mukhsuddhi)after food. At the end this is a Bengali restaurant so this is how we Bengalis complete lunch.
