Just like all other ghats it's also the same you can rent shikara from here and also book house boats. I would recommend visiting early as there is always lots of traffic in the evening.

There are always more than 5 army people in this ghat. I haven't seen another ghat though.. we were just there for the hotel pickup.
Basically ghats are dropping and pickup points. The other side, all house boats are parked. Here you get down from taxi or bus and go on board shikara, and shikara takes you to house boats. This lake is part of Dall lake, lots of shikara and small boats are there. Water is quite clean and every week it is cleaned by corporation.
