Gharaunda - Train station in Gharaunda - Karnal, India

Gharaunda railway station is located in Haryana near Panipat and Karnal. The station is small but neat and clean. Some train are stopped here but all the passenger and EMU trains are also stopped here. The station is neat and clean and drinking water is also available here.

This place is like other small towns of India. If you have nobody here then don't visit here in late evening cause there's no hotel nearby and most of the shops will also be closed by 9Pm. Neat & clean roads, Supportive people but living at station overnight could be dangerous .

This station is small but very good.There are few trains to get here.

I haven't been there much so do not know much about the place. It hasn't got any monuments or visiting kind of places so its just not worth to visit like for a vacation or something. Be there only if you have to meet your family or someone known else not. Despite of being small, the place has a large population density and hence it is crowdy. A few places out there offer good food and at affordable prices. So not to worry about food. Ultimately its a nice place
