During old time most of population resides nearby ghantaghar as it is Central most location of town, so ghantaghar have 4 clock in all four direction so that people residing there may aware about time. Like all watches earlier they rang on every hour to indicate people about time but now khandwa is developing in all four direction and it is now much bigger city in terms of area so also the watch in present condition are not in working condition.
