Ghanshyam Bhojnalaya & Family Restaurant - Vegetarian restaurant in Mathura, Mahaban Bangar - Mathura, India

Visited this holy place after 15 years, everything was changed and different for me and so was the food. I have tried every street food and restaurant over there. Hard truth but the reality is food at each of the street vendor and restaurant or bhojnalaya was very bland in taste. Only one Pani Puri vendor in nand chowk and samosa vendor had some masla. I hail from Mumbai and food here have soo much different flavours to it. I'm not comparing both places or food. In my observation the food lacks taste. And I have been there 15 years back. Each and every item were so so tasty and delicious. I had that same conception but to my surprise all food lacks flavour and some essential elements. The wasn't bad per se, it obviously gives u homely vibes. But it wasn't that good either. They should add more flavours and yes one common thing, very less salt. If they are purposely using less salt for health reasons then it's good.

Worst Service, Worst Food, it's not even worth 1 star, I'm a pure vegetarian and this is what I am getting in Krishna's land, When complaint they didn't even listened and ignored us, Avoid this place if you are a Touristm

Best food i ever had even without onion and garlic,i like the taste,and lassi is awesome,i eat aalo paratha,lassi,sahi paneer and tawa roti

A typical place to have homely kind of meals or your bhojan or as we popularly call it, the thali. Personally, I feel you do not find such places to be with a fancy setting and sophisticated service. The noisly ambience gives you the 'ghar jaisa bhojan' kind of taste and thus makes the place stand out. Usually their specialities are the meals and so does this place like many others. Most of the items on the meal plate were so 'sattvic' and boasting flavours, be it the tangy paneer ki sabzi, the saundhi sukhi sabzi, the khatti kadhi or the lovely dal fry. We were high on the simple yet lovely taste. Not to forget, somewhere I feel the holy land of Gokul nourishes everything that grows here.

This restaurant located at gokul dham had very great people's gathering in the restaurant and according to place food taste is very good and services is goot but little delay. And they giving tap water which is not drinkable and if you want child water you have to buy bottle water. Staff behaviour good, food taste good and all good except tap water issue and no washroom in restaurant.
