GETAWAY BEACH RESORT KOVALAM - Resort hotel in Kovalam, Thiruvananthapuram - Thiruvananthapuram, India

I went for a family vacation. The hotel staff is great but rooms are bit old touch. Resort has a Beautiful view and Ambience. I had to arrange a surprise birthday event for which the house keeping staff as well as the restaurant & it's cheff were very generous and planned it well. The hotel lacks lift, very inconvenient for elderly person. Overall it's good.

Location and service is good. However condition of rooms is not so good. A lot of places fungus is there which should be cleaned. Regular maintenance must be carried out. Food also was mediocre. Not much choices in the menu.

Sooper luxury resort with great season view and comes with a huge spacious rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very much recommended

Never book never go. Ruined experience.Worst experience. Never recommend you to book. Very old rooms U maintained property Long very long Stairs No lift (rooms are downside with 30-40 stairs) Uncleaned property, very pathetic Grasses are grown To go Washroom u need to take stairs inside the room ...imagine in night when u r sleepy. Very pathetic customer service No water bottle provided Worst AC (not.working old A.c.) Don't go to the pictures they show online. IT ll not only waste your hard earned money but also the holiday, experience and time. Never recommended

The ambience of the place is awesome, and you get an amazing beach side view. Akhil the housekeeping manager was always available for any help. Rocky and Stenim also helped us get a great experience during our in room dining and morning breakfast throughout our stay. Overall it was a great experience with great the food and beverages that were served well and delicious and the breakfast menu was good. A true 5 star experience

I recently stayed at the Getaway Beach Resort in Kovalam, and I was absolutely impressed by the amazing service they provided. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a stunning view of the beach. The resort's restaurant served delicious food, and the beachfront location was perfect for relaxation. Overall, my experience at Getaway Beach Resort was truly fantastic, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommended for a memorable getaway by the sea!

Excellent stay. Clean rooms, very good hospitality, near to beach, scenic beauty , rooms provide good sea view. Staff were very caring and responding immediately to the requirements..especially Mr Rajesh in front desk and Mr Ranjeeth and Mr suneel from restaurant very helpful. Took a twin room suite, the rooms were clean and were modern with traditional interiors. The only draw back was there was no lift facility.

This hotel "was" probably a 5 star hotel couple of years ago. Now its a strictly a 2* hotel. The hotel needs major renovations. The room are in a very sad state. We booked 4 rooms including a studio room and the decor of rooms were pretty dated. All the furniture, sofa, beds are very very old and there's no proper maintenance. The bathrooms are equally bad as most of the accessories were almost in broken condition, the doors does not close properly. During our 2 nights stay, we had challenges with the service staff, no water in the bathrooms. The reception is closed from 11pm to 6am. The so-called restaurant can cater only to 3-4 ppl at a time. We were 14 of us and they took very long time to serve. They had only 1 menu card printed on A4 paper. When asked for more menu cards, they didn't have any. It takes hardly 10 rupees to print menu cards but they are least bothered about customer service. The hotel does not have direct beach access and you have walk 10-15 mins very steep downhill/uphill to reach the beach. I would strongly recommend anyone staying in this hotel till they fix the basic infrastructure and service.
