My father was in employment with Geological Survey of India till the year 2009 which is the year when he died. He worked in the eastern region of GSI. However, after his demise we tried for the job on compassionate grounds for my dependent mother but the application was rejected, the reason being that her qualifications were not enough to meet the requirements of the job. We were also told that the child of the deceased employee could re-apply for the job when they are of the legal age. Since we stay outside Kolkata, we have also tried to contact the office earlier in this regard but could not get assistance. Can anyone please tell me the process or the concerned person or department I need to talk to. It would be of great help. Thank you

I' m really sorry to say that GSI administration has strategised to harras me to deprive me of my due enhanced pension on revision of pension on MACP. Might is right is the sole policy of GSI. Thank god that PMO has rescued me from further harassment. Now I see that GSI has obtained unauthorised ISO certificates, this is really shameful and just beyond expectation.
