We visited Gents Seat and nearby areas, during our stay at Sterling Resort, with family. 1) Scenery: Magnificent atmosphere, with the perfect view of the whole valley & Salem city below. 2) Connectivity: Nicely connected via road transport with nearby tourist spots & important cities. 3) Food: Not much. But few shops at nearby Ladies Seat can offer you tea/coffee & few things to munch. 4) Attraction: Make sure to wait for the Sunset, and then dusk after sunset, glorious views.

There is nothing here except a good view of the Mettur dam and forest below. An entry fee of 30 bucks per adult is collected. This fee is only for the view point and the park area. The same view from Ladies seat, except that it is higher point. One has to climb around 30 steep steps. Cars can go to this point. If u r staying in Sterling resorts, this place can be accessed from the backside car park and one need not pay the entry fee. The view is good though. On a misty day, it feels very peaceful breating in the mist and basking in the mild cold air.
Nice view point better to go either at sun rise time or at sunset time. No snacks option available here. Not crowded at all as people return from down point and a very few people come here. Place is not very clean. There is no entry fee also parking has to be done on road side
Ok, but we need to walk and uplift some steps, better old age people will stay down, just the view mountain other than nothing, and chill air high, thats it. Thank you
Very nice sunset view you can get here, clear day view would be great but cloudy day also view is very nice..day time there is entry fees for this place which covers 2-3 other nearby points entry fees also early morning or late evening ticket guy not available so free..good for all age group, Lil challenging for elderly person..
It's a nice place, We had felt the mist while gone to this place. Visiting this pllsein the evening during sunrise and sunset is good.
The view from here is amazing. 15-30 mins would suffice at this place.
