I had an exceptional experience at the government general hospital! To secure an OP ticket swiftly, arriving early around 6 o'clock is advisable as the queues tend to grow significantly by 9 o'clock. The staff members were incredibly polite and helpful, making the registration process seamless. The best part was the highly competent and compassionate doctors who provided top-notch medical care. I left the hospital feeling reassured and grateful for the excellent service. A truly commendable institution for healthcare!

You always need to stand in long waiting queue. These people dont even have token number system. Emergency/Causual/OP whatever you call everything is in same room so always need to wait.

General hospital of kasaragod is a huge hospital it has every facilities at every time Lot of people have crowded in hospital every time All type of doctor's are available there Its very proud for kasaragod district because of this hospital The responsibility of the government to the public we may see in this hospital The staffs of this hospital have very kind habited There most seen is delivery patients

Doctor takes leave frequently. No advance appointment,have to reach hospitals counter for appointment, long queue .we have to call every night or early morning to confirm whether the doctor is present.Sometimes no call pickup.

Very hopeless staff. They just made me wait for nearly four hours for getting my son's blood group for the purpose of a Medical fitness certificate. Staff at the op counter directed to go directly to lab. After waiting for two hours at queue, the staff at the lab directed to go back to op once again to get the seal on the op ticket and the form for blood test. After waiting once again in the queue for one hour got the seal in the form. Had to wait once more in the queue for another hour to get the result. That is the procedure followed there.

No Distance No Sanitizer No washing facilities for public people. No proper queues Very poor casualty. 2 lady doctors were available in casualty today. (19 March).They were working very slowly. More than 20 patients are outside waiting till 2 hours. Doctors were giving first priority to government employees. Other patients are waiting outside. Suggestions : Try to open a new room to government officials especially respective police officers. Old age people and other patients may suffer alot if they came in casualty.

Good hospitality (Doctors and Nurses). They give good attention towards the patients. Wide ranges of doctors available. Mostly crowded, you need to go early to checkout early. Lab is pretty good. Cheap prices(no charges to patients having arogya card). One Need to wait for 2hrs to get the reports after submitting samples. XRAY and Scanning facility exists. Blood bank, Karunya pharmacy nearby. Canteen food is just ok. Tastes same every day. Free breakfast and lunch for in patients. For dinner, patients can collect free kanji provided by Seva Bharathi Trust which is healthy for patients. Cleaning is done daily. 24hrs security. Decent Parking space which is not free(10rs per hour). Everything inside the hospital building is free of cost if you have Arogya card. Else, 5rs for OP registration.
