General administration guest house - Guest house in Meluri - Phek, India

This one is in melluri village and I guess this is the only guest house there and in Surrounding area.. Care taker is very helpful. Room rent is not much here you can get single bed room at around 300 and double bed room at around 600 but food is little bit costly. It will cost around 150/- per plate for veg and 100 more for chicken. Hot water you can get using heater coil.

The rooms are big n cozy. The toilets don't have the water supply, need to fetch the water from outside. There's no hot water facility for bathing. Veg meal includes homemade dal-rice, potato curry n salad.

Government owned rest house at nominal rates. Best place to stay while at Meluri. Fooding available on request.

Considering it's a very small town, the rest house or guest house as you may call it, is a nice place to stop at with an elderly lady taking care of the unit to her best ability. Fairly comfortable rooms, palatable food, rustic setting with a village home feel beyond the rooms. No hot water facility, but then again, this is a village that doesn't get many visitors considering it's distance from Kohima or Dimapur. Point to note, there aren't really any hotels in Meluri, so this is probably the only available option if you must stop over here (with prior bookings thru the PWD or any govt office if you know someone in any of those offices).
