Its a hospital specialised in gastric related issues.The hospital is so calm and quiet. We can't find any rush or crowd anywhere. As like other private hospitals the rates of their services are costly. The rooms are clean. The canteen is so poor

I'm sorry to say that I am writing this review to express my concern and angry towards the nurses who provided the post operation service at Gem Hospital. The nurses in the operation theatre provided good care during the Hernia laparoscopic surgery, which is crucial. However, the quality of service seemed to have declined during the post-operation period. It's disappointing to hear that some of the nurses responsible for patient care were more focused on their phones and didn't prioritize their duties. Additionally, making my mother wait for over an hour on a wheelchair, especially after surgery, is not acceptable. Patients should be treated with care and consideration, and their comfort and well-being should be a top priority. It's important for the hospital to address these issues to ensure that all patients receive consistent and high-quality care throughout their entire stay. It's a reminder for healthcare providers to maintain professionalism and compassion at all times.

Really nice experience, the doctors are really well healers, especially Dr. Vargheese, those who have really problems with stomach should consult this doctor. Every ratings have 5 but im rate it as 4 because of the bathroom, every hospital which keeping high facility and hygiene, and good bathroom is the awesome one. So here bathroom is the worst experience... Thats why im giving 4 star.

Very late review. Three years back, I delivered my baby girl there. The nurses were really cruel, cannot call them a ' nurse' because they don't deserve that position. When I was in delivery pain, the nurses not even reassuring me or allowing any of my family members to enter in. They were talking like culture less people. If I would have been there now, I know how to react. I hate most of the staffs were there. Moreover I had the same experience few years before when I delivered my son. I would not suggest that due to that staff's behaviour not doctors.

As an allopathic doctor my concern is regarding tamil doctors coming to kerala and starting their hospital like gems Where's we find it extremely difficult to practice in their state.Even doctors from Andhra and karnataka are flocking into kerala and hacking into our practice which is already very competitive here now.I know Varghese alias jaison personally who should be providing good treatment.Many of these south indian doctors who flock to kerala are aiming for neet pg exams and therefore they are not very much concerned about patient care.Hence they should practice in their own states without affecting the practice of keralite doctors.

I underwent key hole surgery for Bilateral Inguinal Hernia and Gall bladder stone (Cholelithiasis) at GEM Hospital & Research Centre, Thrissur. I am now fine and have no problem at all. Any patient can approach this hospital with full confidence because they are having well trained and experienced doctors with good system of treatment. I really appreciate this hospital. P.S. Even though they are big group in Hospital chain, the hospital is not air-conditioned....Simple aayi paranjal Ningal choodeduthu marikkum They not even kept a fan on first floor in front of Operation theater....very bad experience...koppp
