The best veg hotel in manjeri. Tried their breakfast (dosa, vada, tea), uzhunnu vada is awesome. The building outlook is not modern, but we will get a traditional feel when we goes there

Sambar, chutney and chammanthi served along with dosa and neyroast is of very poor quality. Sambar only contain vendakka. Also poor serving of customers

Don't go for looks, old building, old interiors, old furniture. If you are looking for authentic vegetarian food in Manjeri, Geetha Bhavan is the choice.

One of the oldest vegetarian restaurant here at Manjeri town. I tried their breakfast and it is good. They have idli, Puri masala, dosa, ghee roast and masala dosa for breakfast. The masala dosa was good and soft idli. Their uzhunn vada is so good. A perfect uzhunn vada. Their coconut chutney and onion tomato chutney is somewhat runny, but the sambar is delicious and with good consistency. This restaurant may not have enough space for a big crowd. The rates are reasonable and the food is good too. So anyone looking for a light and vegetarian breakfast, do check out this place.

Geetha bhavan has to renovate. Only taste doesn't work nowadays. The building is years old and looks like an ancient museum. There is of course a space waiting for a new GB with a modern outlook and dining ambiance.
