Dropped on for lunch a couple of days ago. It's a small restaurant with a sitting area just as you enter and another smaller room further back. Their food is freshly made, piping hot and very tasty. This is a no fuss place where you go for the food. We ordered a vegetarian thaali, a fish (bangda or mackerel) thaali and a portion of modso (cobia or lemon fish) fry. Vegetarian thaali had two vegetables, daal, rice, chapatti, pickle, papad, sol kadi and salad. Fish thaali had fried fish (bangda), fish curry, vegetable, mussels, rice, chapatti, sol kadi, papad, pickle and salad. Don't feel shy asking for refills of daal, curry, vegetables. Our total bill for all this came to Rs430 and is super reasonable for 2 persons (considering we paid almost the same amount for 2 Gujarati veg thaalis a couple of days later!). The owner is a friendly and generous host - will definitely be back for more!
