Geetanjali Hotel & motel - Hotel in Bharatpur, Nagla Gopal Rural - Bharatpur, India

I have a fair experience at this property. The property itself is huge. The sprawling lawn just in front of the hotel looks outstanding. Here, you would also find many species of birds. The rooms are comfortable, and there is a lift that would help, especially the elders. I didn't get a chance to taste their food, but I got a chance to experience their hospitality, which is good. I would like to visit the place again.

In our social life, we celebrate various festivals, occasions, and events. These allow us to enjoy. The wedding ceremony is such a joyous occasion. A few days ago I attended a wedding ceremony. It was my cousin's wedding. The event was held at their village home. It was a very interesting event. The whole house was decorated with colored paper and flowers. The house was illuminated with multi-colored electric lights. A beautiful gate was made at the entrance of the house to welcome the bride. The groom arrived at 3 p.m. He was wearing a gorgeous wedding dress. He was the main attraction. He looked very smart and cheerful. I exchanged courtesy with him. He also greeted me. Hundreds of guests from both sides were present at the ceremony. I was assigned to take pictures. I have sincerely performed my duties and carefully photographed the special moments. Then, according to the rules of our religion, the marriage ceremony is completed amicably.

Big sized rooms with ample bathroom space. Second floor under construction currently. Nicely behaved staff and Manager. Price is reasonable than it's neighborhood hotels.

Location is on the highway, away from the town as well as the Keoladeo National Park. So getting local transport is difficult. Food is definitely worth the money if paid along with the room. Basic amenities were provided. But our phone was not working and also, hot water was not available round the clock. Service quality was good and the staff quite friendly. Overall a nice budget hotel worth the money.

The hotel is outside the city and close to Koeldev bird sanctuary. If you have own transport it is a nice place to stay. There is ample parking space and driver's stay. Since the hotel is outside city, the rate appears bit high. The rooms are reasonably clean. There are about 23 rooms on the first floor. Currently there is no lift. They have plans to extend to higher floors with provision for lift. Around 9 rooms have independent geyser for hot water. Other rooms have central hot water supply. These rooms , I was told, has supply for limited time in the morning and evening. The free breakfast has limited items. The food was good. The front desk and staff was courteous, however slow in response.

Food quality is not consistent sometimes good n vice-versa. But can go for big parties like birthday, marriage or any other function. There is huge ground, hall n rooms.

The hotel is situated at the highway, about 3 Kms before Saras Circle, Bharatpur on the Agra-Jaipur highway. Even though I found the location of the hotel very good but some of the traveler may not like it as it is at a lonely place and no nearby shops of houses or anything is there. The hotel has a nice property and feels very open as it has a lot of space. Even the rooms are big enough and clean. Food was also excellent. Only problem here was of service quality. At the reception I was pointed towards the rooms which was on the first floor (Room 101). No once was there to help me with the luggage. The person at the reception didn't even had the courtesy to show me the room, he just pointed towards the room. Electricity was also a problem. It may be the problem only on the given day but there was electricity cut numerous times and as the genset could only power the lights and fan the Air conditioner could not be used which may be a problem on the hot and humid days.

overall a decent place to stay if you have your own vehicle. but pleas check out on time. we had called and requested for 2 hrs extra which they agreed on the phone, but while checking out asked money.. thankfully they didn't take any after some negotiation. if you need a hotel just to keep luggage and spend the entire day in the bird sanctuary, this place is good. I'd also say the food (lunch/dinner) is not so good.. breakfast is good!
