I visited this Gayatri Park on 08|04|2023 (sunday). It is located at Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur. I went there to attend Gayati Deep Maha Yagya. It is really a huge park. There were approximately 2200+ people and still the park was not full. There is a temple also of Hindu Goddess Maa Gayatri in the Gayatri Park Campus. This park is located next to Gayatri Shakti Perth in Kidwai Nagar . After being in bad shape for many years The park was renovated couple of years back and was maintained well for some time . The current state of the park is not good and I guess the reason is lack of maintenance. More greenery can be added to the park . There are some old trees in the park which adds to its beauty but the rest of the park is not maintained . It's a medium size park which has a potential to be used a walking park given it is maintained well . Most of the time garbage can be seen dumped along the boundary wall of the park . These days the park has become a permanent residence for the monkeys which is another reason people must be hesitant using the park . With a little bit of maintenance and civic sense this park can be converted into a beautiful walking and playing garden for the residents in the area . With Kanpur witnessing high pollution levels these parks if maintained well can actually help to improve the air quality in the nearby area .
Gyatri Shakti Peeth is situated at this small size park... It should be idle for entire locality, due to lack of maintenance it is not in proper condition. JANTA is too ignoring the park.
It's a good place but there are lots of monkeys
This place is for religious purpose like - (Janeu,, Yagyopaveet, Yagya, )On sone occasion they also perform Paati Poojan as they did on Vasant Panchami
A good place for morning walk and kids for playing in the evening
It was bit dangerous coz there are broken glass pieces which could possibly harm you so be careful
