1st of all location of gaurav lodge that's seeing in Google map is wrong. It is beside the Shree Deep Palace.
Pros...
1. Behaviour of the staffs are good.
2. Wifi avilable.
3. Room is quite & cool.
4. Near bus stand but away from road side.
5. CCTV camera present.
Cons..
1. Room is ok, but the bed cover & bed sheet is dirty.
2. You have to burgain a lot as there is no fixed rate.
3. They don't give you basic things like soap or water.
The rooms were good but the wifi service wasn't provided as well as the front desk personnel didn't have a smile on his face rather it felt like it was us welcoming him.

The lodge location is near the bus stand and is at reasonable price. But the rooms need renovation.

Bang next to petrol station and absolute friendly staff. Morning breakfast was tasty and really good clean rooms and fast wifi. Ample safe parking. Very affordable rates and very friendly front reception staff.
Moderate rooms with excellent room service. The staff was very helpful with everything. They have a sign of "No smoking inside the room"but you can smoke inside.

Quiet place, at the entrance of the town coming from Darjeeling, much quieter than the (expensive) hotels in the centre of Siliguri. I stayed there for over a month in March/April 2020 (lockdown), stayed AND fed (delicious food), lovely and welcoming
