Gateway homestay and cafe - Restaurant in Aut - Mandi, India

Loved this place, my favourite stop to board bus for Delhi, this is ideally located near the river. The high mountain peaks surrounding it makes it a wonderful place to sip coffee/ tea. The food here is yummyliscious with many options. To sit here with feet dangling from the roof as the river rushes below, and mountains watch over us gives this place an unmatched charm. (But, O traveller, beware of the adjacent shops as the Lady there sells local stuff for steep prices , which I could understand, but she sells bad quality stale stuff, which is a disgrace. I bought cashew nuts (2 sealed packs) and found tiny worms wriggling out of them when I put the nuts to roast them! ) Coming back to the getaway cafe, Do visit and have a hearty meal there at their rooftop!

It was a pleasant cafe with a beautiful view. Food was also worth the money. Must visit place if you are looking to have a peaceful eating place with mountains & river views.

Very very nice hotel / highway restaurant just on the banks of beas river with stunning views, and amazing fresh cooked food with the seating arrangements on the open terrace. Must visit. The whole property is under cctv protection.

Had to wait here waiting for our bus. The food is decent. The views are great; river, lush mountains, bridges, everything at once!

Loaction is perfect if you need some food and have time to kill before your bus from Aut. I spent some good 4 hours at the cafe, enhoying the beautiful river view with strong winds

Had their amazing parantha. I was waiting for my bus to arrive, was super hungry and asked them to pack it. I made my payment and the bus suddenly arrived. The gateway staff requested the conductor and driver to wait, they offered them free tea, while the parantha is getting packed in 5 minutes. They prioritised the paranthha and packing. And got me in the bus within 5 minutes. They were amazing, very hospitable people and the tandoori Aloo pyaz parantha with butter was amazing.

Amazing riverside rooftop restaurant, food is value for money, while waiting for volvo you can have meals here
