Garchumuk Deer Park - Zoo in Srirampur - Howrah, India

Park is nice n beautiful. Hate closed at 5pm everyday. 19 rooms are there to stay. Boating fishing facilities available there. Rate of those rooms are Rs.2000/night. It may vary time to time.

A good place to visit on winter weekends.

I have visited this park 1 month ago. This park is situated in 58Gate,Howrah just opposite of Burul ferry ghat,South 24 pgs.. This is famous picnic spot.Moreover that there are so many animals and birds.

This park is situated besides the bank of Damodar River . And it is near the 58 no gate. It has many section like picnic section, mini Zoo section, resorts & guest rooms section and CHILD section. public toilet, bathrooms and drinking water is available. Due to COVID 19 PANDEMIC this park has some restrictions(or may closed) on resorts and guest rooms. Some part of this park is under construction.

Quite and pleasant place for traveling for one day. You can visit this place. Actually you'll be enjoyed after coming here, 58 gate, garhchumuk.

The park is decent, but was overcrowded during the COVID period with minimal security measures in place. The visitors were allowed to roam freely inside the park without masks or hand sanitation, and many people were gathering in large groups. The deers and peacocks were not appearing to be healthy which made me doubt whether they are being properly taken care of by the staff. The facilities are below mediocre and accessibility for cars/wheelchair/bikes are limited.

Worst experience ever. The zoo has been closed indefinitely. You can visit the park only and it's not for free. Rs.15/- will be charged per person. Horrible experience...

It's a very good place for Picnic. Environment is good, you can see two river together, 1. Hoogly (Ganga) river and 2. Damoder river. Most important thing is it's a little zoo... & Park for children You can find deer , peacock and others
