Garbati School was established by Pandit Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, where my father was a student. There's a big playground behind the school, where I used to play with my friends sometimes, where I persevered to be a fast bowler in the dawns, where in some golden afternoons, my father taught me how to ride a bicycle. There's an adjacent pond to the field where my father used to swim in his childhood and so did I in mine as well.
Garbati High School is the oldest and famous School in Chandannagar. There is a big playground in this School. It is standing by the side of G.T.Road. Once upon a time Vidyasagar visited in this School. Dr. Ranabir Bhowmick is the Head Master of this School now. There are various communities pupils come to read in this School. The results of this School is good. Also I am an assistant teacher in this School now.

This place is famous for Raj Rajeswari Puja. Friendly locality and only 4 mins walk from G T Road.
