Well connected road from Battalapalle. Temple premises is clean & tidy. All basic amenities are in place. Good place for meditation.
This village was present in near to Bathalapalli mandal headquarter. Moharam was popular festival and appaswamy temple was famous who is jeevasamadhi (lively burried). Most of the villager names are appaswamy every saturday pooja was performed. village atmosphere was decent to live basic goods are available living near by normal stores. Primary school was present. Rdt hospital and primary health centre was present around 2 km distance from the village.most the villagers come to Bathalapalli for all goods.
A very beautiful village with cool and calm environment. A wonderful village with the neat and clean roads. A pleasant village with the facilities of a town.

Gantapuram is a village located by the sides of RDT Hospital, Bathalapalli, Anantapur. A famous Saint known as 'Virat Sri Gurajala Appa Swamy' attained maha samadhi 300-400yrs back and samadhi mandiram is located in the village.
