Gangadevi Temple - Hindu temple in Latur - Latur, India

Gangadevi Temple Ancient and Nice Temple and had good Darshan for religious purpose.. Temple is very ancient it's small but very beautiful..Its Gramdevi of Gangapur... Place is well maintained and sourrended with feilds and natural beauty.. Devine Shrine of Gangadevi afterseing feels very blessed with positive energy. Must visit at least once to see such a beautiful ancient temple build with stone.

A praaciin ( historically old) temple which is the Aradhya Daivat or Gram Devi ( Village temple) of neighbouring Gangapur. It's said that the temple was built in one night by the Yaksha's and Rakshasa's in ancient time though it's associated with the Hemadpanthi sect. Would love to see some historical facts surrounding it or learn more about it. The area around it is pretty calm with neighbouring farms and vast trees..it's frequently adorned by Peacocks and most times you would be lucky to spot a whole heard of it around. The only disappointment is that the road approaching the temple is not maintained and especially during monsoon it's pretty unapproacable. Wish the Gram Panchayat dis something about it.
