A good place to get all groceries, the fruits and veggies are reasonably priced and good quality. It is a slightly bigger version of a mom-n-pop store. The sweet shop next door is great and I recommend this to satisfy your sweet cravings. They serve a good variety of indian sweets. Parking is an issue as the shop fronts the Arcot road and shares the same parking space with the sweet shop.
Apart from sweets and savors; South Indian, North Indian lunch and tiffin items are available. Quality of meals is top-class. Cost wise also it's very cheap compared to nearby restaurants like saravana bhavan. Not sure why people are over-crowding saravana bhavan... try meals here and you will not regret.
