This is good hotel and near to temple and ghats. Rooms are small but well maintained. You can see Ganga from hotel .Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Ayush Sinha has personally assisted us with the extension of room for additional hours when my flight got delayed.

Good location, below average service If you want to stay near Dasashwamedh Ghat, this Guest House is a good choice. But a little far from the Market & Mandir. Out of 5, I would give: Location: 4,Room cleanliness: 3, Service: 1. Good points: we checked in at night 2:30am (with full day booking of course), but no issues for room getting. Also, they allow us to put our trolley and other baggage after check-out time. Bad points: One Bedroom, out of 3 room bookings, was given as two separate beds though we see the bed type written in booking was double bed. Also, they refused to do the room service everyday. They did for every alternate day. Another frustrating point is: every time you came from outside, you need to ask the service team to switch on the Air Conditioner from their backend. Then only you can switch on from your room remote. Also, every day they miss at-least one room to provide the complementary water bottles. They provided the water bottles after asking only.

Excellent location, very great room and very good service. We stayed for a day here, no reason to complain. Located next to the ghat, this is highly recommended hotel as this is fully refurbished with high standards.

Ganga Darshnam Hotel is near Ghat and kaashii vishvnaath mndir (Gate no. 1). But the overall services provided by staff is poor. Rooms are fine but with substandard facilities. Few points to be made aware of: 1. Bathroom door knobs, shower handle were broken. 2. Basic necessary items like floor mat, clean towels, etc. were missing. 3. Poor room service. The receptionist was reminded multiple times to resolve roo related issues. 4. Based on services provided, per night fare of rooms are expensive. I just shared my experience to make people aware and the Hotel staff to improve the experience of tourists. Have an amazing experience in Varanasi. Har Har Mahadev

The hotel is very close to the Dasashwamedh Ghat (less than 1 minute by walk). It being on 1st floor and has no lift is it's negative factor. Has got no parking facility nor food and snacks. The rooms are cozy but are well maintained. The washroom has Jaguar fittings with 24 hours hot water facility. Check-out time is 11.00 a.m.(strictly).

Pros: 1. Location is very near to Dasaswamedh Ghat.It is only good thing. Cons:1. Please be noted that the Check In time is 1:00PM and if you ask the Hotel that you will check in 1hour before, they will charge you full day room rent. Do not expect any better solution from owner unless business. As you have to made payment during booking, owner will not entertain you after payment and he will made himself busy in false meetings always. 2. It is only hotel in my entire trip where I have made full payment during booking. Overhyped and over rated hotel. 3.Although it was written in the booking that city view rooms will be given, but they will not give you that. If you ask the receptionist to change the room(which have no proper ventilation/window view)then he will told you that all rooms are booked which is not true. Owner will always busy and will not talk to you. 4. Location of the hotel is very far from four wheeler access. Approximately 900meters from Girja Ghar where you have to leave your four wheeler. Then you have to take battery car to Nandi Chawk. From Nandi Chawk, you have to reach Hotel by walking approximate 600meters with all your luggage and companions. No parking available.Owner will say that location is just 100meter from Girja Ghar which is totally false. 5.No dining, kitchen is available in the hotel. 6.Please do not book any local tour, Ganga Bihar, arti darshan arranged by the hotel. They will just loot you in every manner. 7.Parking is not available. Also four wheeler access is restricted by the Local Police. 8.Be aware of pick pockets and consciously talk to the other local people. Everyone is doing business there so be prepared for that. 9.Bargain with the battery car/tuktuk otherwise they will take more and more money from you just for smaller distance. 10.Better to book any other property for better access, parking, food or any other amenities during your journey. 11.Please have a overall knowledge of the location of the areas so that you will not need any help from others. As the local people as well as Police will mislead you regarding the direction of the any destination. NOT RECOMMENDED for booking.

I had the pleasure of staying at Ganga Darshan Hotel for three nights during the Shravan season. The journey to the hotel was a bit of a trek from Godowlia due to the unavailability of e-rickshaws caused by road closures. However, the walks turned out to be quite enjoyable every time a with restaurant, eateries, shops and more interesting things all around. The hotel's location couldn't have been better, situated right on Dashashwamedh Ghat, just a minute's walk from Gate No. 1. The room exceeded my expectations, being clean and well-maintained. The bathroom was spotless, with a reliable supply of hot and cold water. The room itself was spacious, equipped with a comfortable bed and a wardrobe. The hotel offered room service and cleaning services, which added to the convenience. The hotel's Wi-Fi had a strong and stable connection, allowing me to easily attend my office meetings on Zoom without any hiccups. What truly stood out during my stay was the helpful and friendly staff. They were always ready to assist with recommendations for places to visit and even opened gates in the middle of the night when we wanted to attend the Mangla Aarti. Additionally, there's a beautiful Shiv Mandir right at the entrance of the hotel, adding to the overall spiritual ambiance. My stay was truly enjoyable, comfortable, and peaceful. Rahul (staff) is a good staff member and helped us a lot! The rooms are good, service is good, only thing is dont eat food inside restaurant and go outside to explore varanasi much better! Rest is all good the location is perfect just beside dwashashwamedh ghat.
