Old school freshly ground coffee place. Been in Madikeri since the mid sixties and the locals swear by the place. 3 kinds are available, one with chicory mix, the other pure arabica and lastly arabica robusta blend. Good coffee
We got to know about this coffee shop on a trip to Coorg. Very famous shop over there. I've tried many shops in my locality, but never satisfied. Here I got the perfect roasted beans with good aroma. Being an online order, min. 1kg needs to be purchased. In pure arabica, I bought 500gms in powder form and 500gms as roasted beans (to be used later). I use my mixer jar to grind the beans and the freshness and aroma still persist even after months. Finally found the right place for my coffee love.
Don't think beyond this place if you are in town looking to buy coffee. They have 3 major varieties. 1. Pure Arabica 2. Arabica + Robusta 3. Coffee with 20% chicory They are the most busiest when it comes to buying coffee and the goto defacto for the locals. Almost all tourist centric shops sell a very lower grade of coffee. But Ganesh Coffee sells the best quality and enjoy your brew with style.
It was nice shop, we purchased filter coffee from there. The owner is helpful. They also roast and grind the coffee if you give them beans (timings 8am -12 pm). The coffee here is cheaper as well as quality wise better than others
They are the best in town coffee sellers, more than 50 years of experience. Attractive smells through the roadside. Which will grab us to the shop? And the genuine customer service. Very friendly and helpful. 2 varieties of coffee available mixed and pure. Rs300/kg and 400/kg but it's really worth.
Superb coffee.. excellent aroma.. if u want to taste the real taste of Coorg coffee.. go for Ganesh coffee .. everyone in Madikeri town speaks about Ganesh coffee.. i have been regular customer for 5 years now. They have arabica and robusta coffee beans .. roasted to perfection. Chocolaty coffee.. wow... Go for 80% arabica and 20% robusta. Use a traditional brass filter...u ll find the heaven...they freshly roast and courier it to u. U need not go to Coorg for this coffee . Ganesh coffee bring COORG COFFEE to your desk. TASTE IT... AND U LL GO FOR IT AGAIN.. AND AGAIN... FACT.. NO FALSES.
A small shop for coffee ...they had experience of around 50years..they sell coffee powder that of two types, pure and mixed and they also sell traditional Kodagu spices and honey both are producing in Kodagu only...pure coffee powder and Arabica and robusta with chicory coffee powder are available here... You can see in live that coffee beans being prepared to coffee powder...also some local people bring coffee beans to the shop for getting it to powder...

We stayed for two nights the Rooms and Service was Good. And the Staff MR. Ravi Was so helpful and always available. What ever the request we gave was fulfilled by him even the small item like note book and pencils was provided by him he never refuse
