The worst breakfast experience I've ever had was here ... the curd Vada was sour and loose and the puri was flat and cold where it had been sitting for long time. I will never return. Terrible and foul.

It's the oldest surviving Vegetarian restaurant in Kanhangad. All items on menu are very tasty and reasonably priced. The place is always busy and waiting is absolute.
His brandmark dessert Sheera is highly recommended and is famous through newspapers. Parking is not available, better to park anywhere and go by Auto.
All traveling Salespersons coming to Kanhangad rely on this place for safe food.

Less quantity of food is provided with a higher price than that of other restaurants.
We had masala dosa , Chapatti and ne'er dosa .. Everything was already prepared .. they just heated it and gave us .. Not so delicious .. Was one of the few vegetarian hotels in khanhagad ..
Not good, there are not many options on the menu. Vada is so hard. Masala Dosa is okay. But the Sambar is watery.
The historical restaurant in the town is known for good food too, however the seemingly rude management and staff makes us feel like we are there begging for food! I hated this experience!
