Gandhibagh Park - Park in Silchar - Cachar, India

A small typical park specially for children. Swings, seesaw, slides, roller coaster and many other things are available there. There is also an artificial rock climbing wall . There are surveillance cameras in some places. There are shops for beverages available inside as well as outside. A ticket costs 30 rs per person. The area is not so big right now but it might expand after some time. The area is a bit cooler than the surrounding places. If you are not a teenager , you might be a little nostalgic. There are places for photoshoot as well in the middle. There are benches available everywhere to sit in the park. There are also some exercise equipments in the park. Kids really loves playing around there. Dustbins are available everywhere in the area. The place is a good choice for a relaxing weekend. Toilets are available inside the park. The whole park is surrounded by trees. There are also places there to sit back and relax while enjoying the whole view from above.

Placed in the heart of silchar surrounded by crowded roads and markets. Best place to take a break from busy life to enjoy moments with friends, family or alone. Though the area is not too big but Still something is better than nothing. Games and recreational activities available for kids. Also several functions are organised here sometimes. Parking [P] is very serious issue here due to very little space.

The park opens at 2 pm till 8 pm. So the timing mentioned in google is incorrect. Ticket price is 30 rs per person. Toy train ride is 50 rs per person. Its a nice place to hang out for kids n family.

since I have always been a night person , i like it better at nights though it is a bit crowded (given the fact that silchar is a hot and humid place, daytime is rather too hot for me.) they have entry fees and is a good place to spend our leisure time (applicable for both children and adults) I posted the facilities available in this park too (legends)

Not a nice place for kids ,very little area and most of the playing equipments are damaged and seems like maintenance is zero. And the opening time is 2pm? Why? But for the people of silchar no other options and that make sense for all the reasons behind.

Recently this park was renovated and new items were installed by the managing committee specially for little children which is very good. Visited quite a few times here with my child and she uses to enjoy here a lot. Nice place to bring ones child in weekends for little refreshment and enjoyment, taking a brake from our busy life. This place is inside the town area so safe in all respect also.

This place is good for children. There are many activities related to children.
