I visited this place when in Shimoga district. Honestly, I didnt enjoy much there. Its not well maintained. I wasnt excited either, just wanted to visit something in Shimoga. But unfortunately, every place was closed or is under construction. One only needs 1 hour to visit the park. Its good to take a walk but dont keep your expectations high. Ticket price - 10/- per head. No washroom or water facility available.
I'll never recommend this place for family with children. I really would like to see the authority . My child was excited to see the park and thrilled to play from there. When we saw the slides n all we were really sad. We saw local children already used to it. Entry fee was Rs10 per person. It's cheap but we don't know where's going that Rs10
This is a huge park with lot trees and plants. But, Seems like the park is not being maintained. Children play area is all broken and dirty. The ponds are filled with dirt.
It's not so clean snd hygienic, also most of the slides are broken ... If they look forward in maintaining it .. it will be a good place
Reasonable entrance ticket of INR 10. The maintenance and upkeep could be better. Nice Park to laze around for some time with family or couples. Has kids play area, a toy train which takes about 5-10 mins for a trip costing Rs 30.
Had lot of expectations going by reviews, totally disappointed Park maintenance is very bad. Although there is 10 Rs entry fee, it's not worth at all. Toy train raid is available for 30 Rs. Aquarium is 5 Rs entry, worth it.
Good to spend some time with children. But playground equipments are totally broken. Authorities better look into the matter and get them reconstructed soon.
Nice place to walking. Peaceful place for meditation in the morning. But people are not maintain clean. Throw plastics everywhere even so much of dustbins are kept.

Good ambience . Lots of people come for walking. Exercise machines are also available here. Inside the park ,there is also a Library . Thi s place also has play things for kids . The lighting looks good in the dark .
