Gandhi Mandap is situated at the hill top of Sarania Hills and is around 2 km away from the base point through a stiff hill road climbing upwards. The side scenes are very beautifull, naturally ornamented hill slope in one side and the other side focusing on the Guwahati city. The city looks very pretty on the bank of mighty Brahmaputra river from the hill top. Many people come to this hill top as a part of their daily workout and is really a passionating one.

It's located on the hilltop of Sarania hill, Ulubari. It has a museum constructed in memory of Mahatma Gandhi. It is a vintage landmark of Guwahati with vehicle access. Gandhiji once visited Sarania hills and therefore this was made in his memory. In the museum there is a big statue of Mahatma Gandhi and the staff that he used. The view of the city from there is so beautiful and mesmerizing. This place is open from 9 am to 8 pm. There are beautiful sitting arrangements over there, anyone can go there and spend some quality time. I want to suggest everyone to visit there once.

You would not believe your eyes If se million beautiful building and river Brahmaputra at the same time. Really the view of this place is breathtaking. This place is so peaceful and unique. The roods are beautiful too. You can take many beautiful pictures in there.
