This is overhyped and overpriced restaurant.
This was on our bucket list for long time but we were completely disappointed.
So, we went there for a lunch.
Food - We ordered 2 special mutton, 1 special chicken thali and 1 kombda wada.
Chicken was raw and like rubber, the wada was just oil soaked puris. Everything was unnecessarily salty. On the top it looked unhygienic. This place is more like overpriced Bhojnalay with worst food.
Ambience - It is on first floor for which we have to climb through narrow stairs
Everything is old from silverware to seats and tables.
Service was good and quick, waiters were friendly and the 1 is just for them.
Must try green chicken thali... You won't regret

Pandhara rassa was like some chinese soup, Kombdi wada cost 90 per plate but it was like just Puri.
Solkadhi was Okay, chicken was too oily.
Awesome place the food is very tasty. We ordered special chicken fry thali, chicken masala and chicken fry. You get unlimited tambda pandhra tassa( i.e curry ). solkadhi is also very refreshing.The taste is mind-blowing and staff is also good. Should definitely try. There have 2 floor indoor ac seating. Vibe is good and the food is tasty.
Good place and ambiance. Food Ok. But waiters serving with dirty t-shirts, had to wait long. Had ordered mutton n chicken Thali, it was good. but Served only small plate dry item, chapati and rassa. No rice served and waiter came with bill. Overpriced

Food is really good. They maintained the same teaste for many years.
Apart from traditional tambada pandhara They server green Rossa as additional item along with one non veg soup as complimentary.
Restaurant ambience is decent and clean .
They can improve the service area as this time we waited long for servings as they were havi g limited staff.
But overall good experience.
Worst Mutton and Chicken Thali we ever had, if you complain about the pieces which are without juices, stale and with just bones and throwaway parts like fats (Charbi) if they give extra or replace it they charge double. Only bcoz they give tambda pandra rassa unlimited for 390 mutton thali the taste of main dish is worst and pathetic. I got a long hair in their rice plate
For complimentary item they overcharge for other items.
Even the Vegetarian food was below average
Service- Bad, Cleanliness -Bad, Post Covid- Taste- Bad, Overall very bad experience.
I suggest look for other place or else feel unsatisfied and dejected by entering here.
The best place in Kolhapur to have non-veg especially Kolhapuri Mutton Thali for lunch (many places in Kolhapur serve it in dinner) .
In a thali you get three big Chapati / Bhakri, jeera rice, mutton fry / dry, keema, egg curry, unlimited tambda / Pandhra rassa and solkadhi. The choice of mutton is awesome. They have fish (Surmai) as well at reasonable price.
I love to visit this place again and again

Good place for a quick stop on the way as it is right on the Highway.
The ambience was way too good than we expected and so was the food. We were tempted to try the authentic Kolhapuri dishes and we had the Chicken Masala Thali & Chicken Fry Thali.
Ordered poha, wada sambar, Upit, coffee, batata wada, lunch plate. Extremely tasty, authentic food. Though was a bit sceptical about South Indian snacks, credit to the chef for making the above items. Just superb.

Very neat and clean restaurant. You should try davangiri Dosa, taati idli here. Dosa as usual fantastic and those who love fluppy idali should try Taati idli both dishes are fantastic with coconut chatani and potato sabji.
You can ask for more chata
This was really a very good Vada pav centre I really loved it .
The chutney which he gives with it is just fabulous .

The best place to eat in Kolhapur. I always eat there when I visit Kolhapur. Hotel may seem very below average in ambience. But food, unbelievably awsome and delicious. I can't forget my first meal there. And I visit that place without missing. Loved
