Gambheeram Gadda Reservoir - Water in Visakhapatnam - Visakhapatanam, India

If you're looking for a peaceful place in Vizag, there's a lovely reservoir hidden in the woods away from the noisy city. It's called Gambheeram Reservoir, and it's a fantastic spot to unwind in nature. It's located on the outskirts of Visakhapatnam, and not many people know about it, so it's not crowded with tourists. Although it's a bit tricky to get to, and you can't go boating there, Gambheeram Reservoir is still a very beautiful and quiet place to visit. It's perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy nature without all the hustle and bustle.

Good place for a short hangout. My recommendation would be visit here by bike and avoid car as the road is very uneven and cars will struggle (Unless you have a very good ground clearance). Place is mostly deserted and hence you can enjoy peacefully if you visit as a group.

Great place to have evening walk, 20mins drive from Madhurawada. Sunset is stunning with different hues in the sky reflecting over the lake.

You will generally like the view over there. But don't look at the photos submitted and get hyped because most of them are irrelevant. Here are mine, I visited a week ago.

Beautiful place. It's a bit hard to trace out the location. Would definitely suggest to visit in the early hours

A very good place to chill out a day. Transportation is the only thing that bothers here. The view from here is as good as it gets There is nothing like a ferry or a boat to roam around, we have to just enjoy the view. Its makes a good picnic spot if you have necessary items and know how to cook in such conditions The locals are also quite helpful and act very politely Mostly it is quite empty so we can enjoy the most of it Going through the bushes we can discover even better scenarios The place can be fully enjoyed if you really love nature and not the kind who just can't live without smartphones

Don't follow Google maps it takes to near by place, better you need to take help of local people in reaching the exact location. Expected the water fall from dam but it doesn't reach our expectations,. Some how nice place to visit.

Its a small natural reservoir, people often visit it as a picnic spot and its stored water is supplied for near by areas for drinking. Its a nice place after rainfall, it is scenic. The approach road is not good though. Lot of youngsters do come for swimming here.
