Galna Fort gaalnnaa killaa - Fortress in Galne - Nashik, India

* Fortification of Galna Fort (Ta. Malegaon, Dist. Nashik) Type - Giridurg. - 710 m. from sea level. - height way - * Malegaon- Hilly - Galne. There is a train route from Malegaon to Dhule via Kusumbe. Dongarale is a hilly village on this route. To the south- west of the hills is Galne village and fort. The fort is easily recognizable due to its semi- circular shape. The fort can be reached from Galne village itself. The gate, the ramparts, the mahirapi windows in it are spectacular. There are many graves on the fort. There is water at the fort and you can stay there.

Very well maintained fort but still need some maintenance for better. Route is very simple, anybody can go for trekking and eyewitnesses of very galna fort. So many caves and water storage tank are there. Shivaji and Hanumanji botha temple are inside the cave. Very nice experience. Easiest trek

It was nice day at Galana fort. It's one of the magnificent place to visit. Glad to see many custard apple trees, monkeys enjoying on hills, eye catching sightseeing and remarkable monuments e.g. magnificent gates, caves, mosque and trees. One must visit this place.

Galan fort Tal. Malegaon, Dist. Nasik is very old and belongs to Shiva period. At its base is the old temple of Gorakshnatha from the time of Shiva. The local people have established a trust there and installed idols of almost all the Gods of India there. Every year in Salabad, sermons, kirtans and other religious programs are conducted for fifteen days in the month of Shravan. It is very crowded during the month of Shravan. Devotees are provided accommodation there. All devotees should visit this fort and temple at least once. Surrounded by mountain valleys, the atmosphere here is very beautiful and beautiful during the rainy season in the month of Shravan.

One of the best gem of malegaon taluka, i have never seen any fort before which had so many features to see in a fort , galana fort condition is very good till the date and archeology Department is trying hard to preserve it. really nice fort to visit. if you want to visit this place go to backside of the fort or walk through wall and do some trail to hideen and unseen part of fort you will enjoy magnificent mountain view at the west side of the fort. if you are Lucky enough amd visibility is Clear you may see mangi tungi mulher salher fort from here.

Historic place located in Malegaon taluka of Nashik District. Visitors can climb on fort at this place. Rain and winter are better seasons to visit here. One can spend a day here for picnic. It will better to bring your meals with you. At base of fort a very spiritual temple of God's and Goddess with information is located.

gaalnnaa killaa. Galana fort is situated in Sahyadri's sub-mountain range named Satpuda mountain range. It is 23 Km away from Malegaon city. It was built in 13th century. It is one of the important fort in Khandesh region. It's very beautiful example of Civil engineering. The fort has 4 gate with many caves.
