Galaxy Hotel - Indoor lodging in Kohima - Kohima, India

Located right in the middle of Kohima smart City but this hotel is nowhere in the foot of being called a smart City. It is situated in an old building where a lot of renovation needs to be done for a better environment. This ugly old building with the worst rooms and service is looting money from many innocent civilians who hardly managed to get to the city. For a double bed attached with a toilet they charge 1200 which might seem reasonable for some but if we look into the cleanliness and roam service, the price becomes too high. I will appreciate people who are reading this review to rather go for other reasonable hotels with the best infrastructure and well maintained rooms and services. I found the Aurora Hotel more budget friendly and clean in terms of room services and all. I don't understand why this hotel costs more than Aurora which is far better in everything. If you guys are looking for a budget friendly and clean hotel this is not your place. The room service is the worst of all. The bathroom is never clean, how do they even expect customers to sit in the unclean toilet which is not even an Indian type of toilet. You will find lots of gutka stains and all in the toilet. Beds are never clean, bedsheets are old torn or full of blood stains or some sort. There is no wardrobe for keeping clothes so one has to bring a journey bag or trolley along with them. No towels or soup though the way they charge for a rent seem to be covering all the basic things but no.

Cheap rates a good hotel in the heart of Kohima city. Good place to stay. Rooms are not big but it's perfect for a single person.

Room is average, less hygienic. Price not to high but little costly according to room condition(Not clean enough). Service was good. Overall good for staying

The service is very good. Rooms aren't the best, but are well above average, and a bargain at the price they offer. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Eventhough we did not speak a common language, we were able to communicate without any issue.

The standard variation of comfortness and style provided in it are quite okay, it's upto mark for any foreigners to book and stay without any issues. It's kinda lit and I am sure there will be lots of developments and upgrade coming up in later time, as for now the servicing and rates on responses are good.
