Galaxy Club & Hotel - Hotel in Vijayapura - Vijayapura, India

Pros: The hotel is new, rooms are spacious, decorated well, well lit up and scented. Ample parking in front of the hotel. They have their own ac restaurant down cum bar outside seating which is a bonus. The owners and staff are v helpful and polite. Complimentary wafers, chocolate are provided in the room. The security even gives a car wash in the morning. Not so ok: A few km from the main city. Better if you have your own transport. Some things like paper roll and handwash have to be asked for. The ac was v noisy. It's such a relief when turned off. Bed was too soft for our liking and pillows too high but some people might prefer this. But, a good stay overall.

The place is very clean and well kept. The price is very fair for the quality of place and service. The food was great too, especially the lemon rice. The owner and the staff were very cooperative in general. The owner offered us free breakfast on early check in. They were very helpful with booking transport, helping us get around, or even offering help at every point without it being asked for. Very courteous and nice people.

Rooms are good. The staff is courteous. They bring breakfast from some Udupi outlet nearby. If they want to compete with the likes of fern Vijapura or even kstdc property(which is surprisingly good for a govt hotel), they need to have a breakfast buffet.

Front office team was hopelessly cheap. They don't respect the booking done through third party. Asked additional charges for extra bed which was part of initial booking. So please watch out.. Hotel manager's inability to manage the front office team is obviously seen. So team should have some courtesy for the guest who trust and rely on hotel through their bookings

Nice maintained rooms, good room service, located very near most of the attractions in Vijayapura. Good food, ambience and enough parking spaces. We arrived a bit late and needed some medicines for the family members but the hotel staff arranged for medicines to be delidelivered to our rooms. Very nice gesture.

Nous sommes restes une nuitee dans l'hotel Galaxy Club et nous en sommes tres satisfait. Nous avons signale une fuite d'eau dans la chambre suite a un violent orage. La direction nous a immediatement propose une autre chambre. Ils nous ont aide a preparer notre voyage vers goa en achetant pour nous les billets de bus. Tres bon rapport qualite prix. Juste l'emplacement qui est un peu excentre des lieux touristiques mais l'hotel dispose d'un chauffeur tuk tuk qui vous deposera la ou vous souhaitez. Merci particulierement la receptionniste.

Fantastic services and very friendly environment...must visit superb service especially the owner himself look personally dedicated toward the guest enjoy a lot and was really impressed with the service

A wonderful stay at the galaxy hotel.was surprised to see how the owner was on his feet the whole day taking care of the guests,managing the staff..His humble nature was truly impressive..his staff was very humble and helpful.. overall a wonderful stay and the best part was that all the attractions of the city were very close by .. ample parking space, open air seating arrangements apart from the restaurant..
