Galaxy Beach Resort Mandarmani - Resort hotel in Mandarmani - Medinipur East, India

It's truly value for money. Good location & ambience as well. We stayed there for 3 days from 04.08.23 to 06.08.23 accompanied by two children, a metastatic patient and two senior citizens. We never felt any discomfort. All staffs are very co-operative. Food quality and test are more or less OK. Although it's a very simple resort and you might be disheartened to not having the so called luxury amenities like swimming pool, children's park or Bar counter etc. inside the resort, even then the most attractive area is the sea side deck where you will compelled to seat hrs. after hrs. In high tide you also will have your bath on the deck as well. Plenty of car parking area. But there is a scope to improve the wash room.

A warm hearted hospitality alongwith tasty food dishes received from Galaxy Beach Resorts support staff (Barun da, Piyush da & all) during our 2 days 1 night visit to Mandarmani. Willing to re-visit same resorts near future dates.

The food was really good. The fish was fresh and I loved the parshe one a lot. It was less spicy and oily. The restaurant was spacious and could accommodate a large group.

Quality food! The whole experience was great. Waitress is always so friendly and kind. The food can't get better and the prices are fair for the portion size.

The behavior of the hotel manager is very bad. He cheated us before entering the hotel. They misled us and forced us to go to the hotel by paying a higher fare in the auto booked by the hotel. Many small and big cars are available at Kanthi station, where we were getting a car for 450 rupees, they cheated us and charged 1800 rupees.

Galaxy beach resort room are good. Location is nice. At the end of resort boundary sea waves touch you it's feel awesome. Staff behaviour nice, reasonable price food, veg non veg both are available, Sea food also. But no swimming pool inside the resort. Peaceful environment, enjoy and quilty time with your family members.

A first experience will probably be the last at this resort. This trip was planned out to celebrate my Birthday. However, except for the food and hotel staffs behavior, there's nothing over here that brings justice to the cost paid for the overpriced rooms. Firstly, there are visible cracks on the wall. The rooms should be renovated. Secondly, steep descent from the hotel's vicinity to the beach adding to the potential danger of falling for children and Old People. Thirdly, falling short in commitments. They promised of a Complimentary cake which I never got further which was replaced by a stale and soggy sandwiches given on the last day. Fourthly, manager's terrible approach to the incident of tea spilled over bedsheet. The sheet barely costs 500. But they seem to be stubborn on the cost which they quoted, around Rs750. Stars are given on the following aspects only:- 1. Staffs Behaviour( Except for Manager's Cold Behavior) 2. Food was great except for soggy sandwiches served on the last day as Complimentary. You could have adjusted the cost to help us salvage from some loss incurred over the bed sheet. However, Manager's lack of cooperation led to an utter disappointment in this regard. My husband planned another trip to Mandarmani, but we will not consider staying at this resort ever. Thanks, Gargi Ghosh Kanjilal
