Good place for peace and nature water u can go but development is still required stream was running and it was fun to dip your legs in water and seat on rocks near and enjoy running stream. The approach road from main road is 500 meters and it's very bad so be careful while driving. Bonus suggestions stay away from local one. Use Google maps for better tourist guide
There is a big gate that says uper Tunga dam..not a very attractive entrance...but righ the place where the road bends. So visit here for an amazing view of the dam upstream..
A good place to visit in the morning, you can capture nice pictures. Best time to visit is 9AM to 1 PM
You cannot go inside the dam apparently is what i heard, we had a different view from an offbeat location, clean water, worth spending time
On the way to Sakkrebailu you can see the Dam. Note:Tourist are not allowed dur to Covid. But still you can see the Dam view from the back road.

The complete dam is better seen by taking a boat ride in sakrebyle elephant camp (Rs 100/- for adults). Google maps can mislead on to bad roads.
Nice place to have a view of the Gajanur dam. No entry fee, no facilities. Just visit and enjoy the sight!
