Don't expect luxury; instead, focus on the spiritual journey. The vegetarian meals provided were simple but delicious, with an emphasis on clean and healthy eating. It's not a luxury resort, but it offers a unique opportunity for spiritual growth and self-discovery. I would highly recommend it to anyone on a spiritual journey or seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
It is Hindu religious place. Recommend to reach as early as possible in the morning to avoid long queue . Good infrastructure facility. Surrounding area is very clean and neat. Specially in rainy season you would enjoy best nature experience.
Holy place. Once you enter in ashram you can feel the good vibes. It's very Clean and beautiful. For lunch have to buy Rs. 20/- coupon. This place is nice and peaceful, You can visit zenith waterfall it is closer to this Aashram outside as well as inside. Loved it. We also enjoyed a refreshment drink a seller who sells is very happening person do try his refreshment drinks right in front of main entrance.
It's a Very peaceful and Family Friendly Temple to Visit... It's only 10-15 Minutes walking distance from Khopoli Railway Station. I would say that if you are visiting the temple on Weekends then you should go around 9am it's a Perfect time to Visit and Spending time in the premises of the temple as it's very Silent and Blissful.. you will get to know About Gagangiri Maharaj and also there is a mini Kedarnath Shiv temple also the cave on top of it where you can enjoy the view of whole Khopoli in the Premises which is Just Mesmerizing The Freshness of the air in the area is at another level....

This is one the best places of pilgrimage I have visited. This ashram is of saint Gagangiri Maharaj. Who has taken jalsamadhi. This is a divine place situated in the laps of Sahyadri Mountain in Khopoli town. The cleanliness is at its best. The river flow in the Ashram is called Patalaganga. Which is very neat and clean. This place has Gagangiri Maharaj Samadhi temple, Devi's temple and Kedarnath Mahadev ling. It is said that Lord Kedarnath has come down here. They also have stay and food facilities for pilgrims. One should visit this place.
Divine experience, serenity, greenery around, Mahaprasad, Caves, waterfalls all are amazing. Near by Khopoli station. Bhajans and Kirtans are just makes u feel more energetic an positive.
Gagangiri Asharm is very nice, quiet and beautiful place to visit with your family or friends. As you enter, first visit main temple ( samadhi of Maharaj ) - then visit goshala which is adjacent to temple - then there is tar road that goes to the temple which is located on/in the hill ( walking about 20 to 30 min). The temple management requests all devotees not to pour milk and water on Shivling and Nandi. A fine of INR101 is applicable. The milk can be donated to needy folks outside.
